You built your deck on Moxfield. You track your collection on EchoMTG. Now those two can live together — paste any public Moxfield deck URL into EchoMTG and, in about 30 seconds, you get either a tracked deck with full analytics, or the cards added straight to your collection inventory. Your choice. Every card matches by Scryfall ID, so no TCGplayer ID guessing, no set-code fuzzy match.

1. Copy the Moxfield deck URL

Open any public Moxfield deck. The URL in your browser's address bar looks like https://moxfield.com/decks/abc123xyz. Copy it.

Any public deck works — yours, a friend's, or one from their Explore page. Private decks won't work because we can't read them.

2. Open the EchoMTG importer

Head to the EchoMTG import tool (under My Apps → Import Tool). You'll see three import options. Click Import Deck URL.

3. Paste the URL and preview

Drop in the Moxfield URL and click Preview Match. We fetch the deck from Moxfield's public API, extract every card's Scryfall ID, and match each one against our catalog. You'll see the deck name, the match rate (usually 100% for current decks), and anything we couldn't find.

4. Pick where the cards land

Two options, both useful:

  • As a new deck / list — the default. Creates a tracked EchoMTG list under My Apps → Lists / Decks with the deck name, sideboard, and foil flags preserved. Gets you mana curve, color distribution, total deck price, "cards you own vs need", and cost-to-complete. Your collection inventory is not touched.

  • Into my collection — switches the button to Add N Copies to Inventory. Each card is added to your EchoMTG collection inventory as owned (defaults NM / EN / $0.01 acquired / today's date). Foils stay foil. Good for when you just bought all the cards in a deck and want them tracked as yours.

Same preview pane with the 'Into my collection' radio selected; button now reads 'Add 75 Copies to Inventory'

Pick the one that matches what you actually want to do. Click the button, and you're done.

The result: a full EchoMTG deck view

If you created a list, you land on the new deck's page immediately. Visual deck builder, mana curve, color breakdown, live pricing, cards-you-own overlap with your collection — the whole EchoMTG deck surface, one URL paste away.

Also accessible from the Lists page

You don't have to go through the Importer. Visit /apps/lists/ and the "Start a New Deck/List" sidebar has the same Moxfield/Archidekt URL input with the same destination toggle — designed to fit right in the flow when you're already thinking about decks.

The full story is in our Scryfall integration post.

Also works with Archidekt

Archidekt users, same flow — paste https://archidekt.com/decks/123456/deck-name and we'll fetch it the same way. Full walkthrough in our Archidekt import guide.
