Built a deck on Archidekt? Bring it into EchoMTG in about 30 seconds — paste the deck URL, and we'll match every card by its Scryfall ID and give you the choice: create a tracked EchoMTG list for analysis and deck-building, or add the cards straight into your collection inventory. No manual card-by-card entry, no CSV juggling.

1. Copy the Archidekt deck URL

Open any public Archidekt deck. The address bar shows something like https://archidekt.com/decks/123456/deck-name. Copy the whole URL.

Any public Archidekt deck works — yours, a friend's, or one from their deck browser. Private decks won't work because the importer can't read them.

2. Open the EchoMTG importer

Go to the EchoMTG import tool (or My Apps → Import Tool in the left nav) and pick Import Deck URL.

3. Paste the URL and preview

Drop the Archidekt URL into the text field and click Preview Match. We pull the deck JSON from Archidekt's public API, extract each card's Scryfall ID, and run every row through our catalog. The preview shows the deck name, match rate ("17 of 17 cards matched" when everything lines up), and calls out anything we couldn't find (usually tokens, playtest cards, or printings Scryfall doesn't catalog — safe to skip).

4. Pick where the cards land

This is the fork. Two destinations, both useful:

  • As a new deck / list — the default. Creates a tracked list under My Apps → Lists / Decks with the deck name, sideboard assignment, and foil flags preserved. You get EchoMTG's full deck surface — mana curve, color breakdown, live pricing, "cards you own vs need" overlap with your inventory, and cost-to-finish. Your collection inventory isn't modified.

  • Into my collection — the button switches to Add N Copies to Inventory. Each card lands in your EchoMTG collection as owned, with sensible defaults (NM / EN / $0.01 acquired / today's date). Foils preserved. Good for when you've just bought (or are building up) all the cards in a deck and want them recorded as yours.

Click the button, and you're done.

The result: a complete EchoMTG deck view

Went the list route? You land on the new deck's page — visual builder, mana curve, color distribution, live pricing, and the overlap between the deck and your existing collection. All in your browser, one URL paste away.

Also available from the Lists page

You don't have to start from the Importer. Visit /apps/lists/ and the "Start a New Deck/List" sidebar has the same URL input and destination toggle — designed to fit right where you're already building decks.

Moxfield users: same flow
